The next 4, 5, 7 and 8 of January students from all over Chile will have to take the University Transition Test, former PSU. The undersecretary of Assistance Networks, Alberto Dougnac, explained that those who take the test, regardless of what step their commune is in, will not have to obtain a special permit to attend, in fact they will only have to carry their identity card.
“Regarding the University Transition Test, we must point out that regardless of the phase in which a certain commune is in, those students who have to take it, will have permission to do so,” said Dougnac.
The undersecretary of Healthcare Networks indicated that the procedure would be similar to other activities that have been carried out. “It is not that it is a special permit, but simply, as has been done in some other activities, the student, with his identity card and his registration card, can attend his local examination, without major problems” , said.
However, this dynamic will only serve to render the PDT, since to carry out other activities in communes that are in quarantine, the respective permit will have to be obtained at the virtual police station.
According to data from the Ministry of Education, the University Transition Test will be carried out by 268 thousand people who will be divided into two groups. Thus, 134 thousand students will take the test on Monday, January 4 and Tuesday, January 5. The other 234 thousand students will have dates for Thursday, January 7 and Friday, January 8.
Through the page accesomineduc.cl you can find out in which group a student has to take the test, that is, if they are going to go to the first group or second group. The same happens with the surrender location to which that student has been assigned, according to what was indicated a few days ago by the Undersecretary of Higher Education, Juan Eduardo Varga.
