Tito Rojas dies at 65: “the cock of salsa”

At the age of 65, the Puerto Rican salsa singer Tito Rojas passed away this Saturday.

According to international media such as El Mundo, the artist known as “el gallo de la salsa” died of an alleged heart attack.

Jessica Rojas, one of the singer’s daughters, confirmed the death of her father to Salsoul radio.

The musician, whose real name is Julio César Rojas López, left songs like “El gallo salsero” and “Siempre seré” to remember.

After the news of Rojas’s death, Don Omar uploaded a post on Instagram with the figure of the salsero.

“Nobody is eternal in the world, not even having a heart that feels and sighs so much for life and love … rest in peace, understood,” he said.
