At the age of 65, the prominent Puerto Rican salsa singer passed away Tito Rojas.

According to international media such as El Mundo, the artist died during the early hours of this Saturday due to an alleged heart attack.

The interpreter of songs such as “El gallo salsero”, “Siempre seré” and “Señora de madrugada” had been presented for the last time in a virtual way on YouTube last Thursday in a special show for Christmas.

According to the aforementioned medium, Jessica Rojas, one of the singer’s daughters, confirmed her sudden death to the local radio station Salsoul.

Rojas was found on the ground, and without vital signs, by his own relatives on the balcony of his home in Humacao, a municipality located on the east coast of Puerto Rico.

One of the first to react to his departure was Don Omar, who gave him a farewell message through his social networks.

“No one is eternal in the world, not even having a heart that feels and sighs so much for life and love … rest in peace understood”, wrote the reggaeton, also born in Puerto Rico.
