The former Central Post closed the first immunization process against covid-19

This Friday afternoon the Public Assistance Emergency Hospital (former Posta Central) reported that the first process of vaccination against covid-19, corresponding to the 560 doses made by Pfizer and BioNTech that he received on Thursday.

The health center started the inoculation the same day it received the antidote intended for health professionals in intensive care units and intensive treatment units, the target group chosen by the authorities to be the first to receive the coronavirus vaccine.

Thus, on Thursday it managed to vaccinate 280 people, while this Friday it closed the process with the other 280, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health and the Metropolitan Health Service.

“The immunization process associated with the first batch of vaccines against covid-19 received at the Central Post Office. Thank you, the nursing and drug surveillance team for your hard work, ”they wrote about the institution on their Twitter account, accompanying the message with a photograph of part of their staff celebrating the historic moment.
