During the last hours, the statements that the former general director of the Carabineros, Mario Rozas, made before the Public Ministry for the human rights violations committed by members of the institution.
As published by La Tercera, Rozas declared on November 30 and December 3 in the case where they are investigated crimes against humanity during the social outbreak, a cause led by the Valparaíso regional prosecutor, Claudia Perivancich.
In his statement, for example, he said that a large part of the coordination of operations linked to social demonstrations fell to the former director of Order and Security, General Ricardo Yáñez, which today leads the police institution.
