The Ministry of Health reported 2,395 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, which once again exceeds the barrier of 2,000 cases per day.
In recent days, new infections fell below 2,000, figures that had been recorded for several days in the past week, however, again the gap was broken and 2,395 new cases were reported, of which 741 are asymptomatic.
With these new cases, the number of active cases rises to 13,214 and reached a total of 593,310.

Meanwhile, regarding the number of deaths, in the last 24 hours, 75 deceased persons were reported, according to the Department of Health Statistics and Information (DEIS), which is added to the 16,303 fatalities since the pandemic began in the country.
Regarding hospitalized patients, there are 699 people in intensive care units, 526 of them on mechanical ventilation and 66 in critical condition.
And, finally, the Minsal reported that 44,304 PCR tests were carried out, with a 5.41 percent positivity.
