A macabre event occurred this morning in Pucón, La Araucanía Region. This, after, in the vicinity of the Pucón airport, the lower trunk and part of a man’s skull were found.

Commissioner Cristián Montalva, deputy chief of the Temuco Homicide Brigade, reported that the remains found correspond to “A body of the male sex and of advanced age, for which the pertinent procedures are carried out to establish the possible cause of death and how the body arrived where it was found by passers-by, who passed in the morning.”
The incident is being investigated by personnel from the Carabineros and the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police.
In addition, the Legal Medical Service is working to find the identity of the victim.
