The western sector of the Metropolitan Region starred in harsh images during the day. During the afternoon of this Tuesday, a shooting in the Plaza de Maipú ended with the death of a 59-year-old woman in the commercial sector of the commune.
After hours and when one thought about the tranquility of the sector, a couple of kilometers away, in Cerrillos, overnight there was a new confrontation with bullets, preliminarily, this time among strangers.
The events occurred at the corner of Av. Pedro Aguirre Cerda with Av. Departamental, a few steps from the Cerrillos Station of Line 6 of the Santiago Metro, instance where two people were injured and one confirmed deceased.
With the passing of the minutes and after the first steps by the Investigative Police (POI), it was confirmed the death of another unknown who confronted law enforcement officials.
As reported by PDI staff, officials of the institution were returning to the commune of Ñuñoa when they noticed a car without its license plate so they proceeded to address them, instance where the Subjects inside began the shooting that ended with two of them dead, another referred to a health center and two detainees.
