The ANFP reported during the night of this Tuesday the suspension of the match between Colo Colo and Coquimbo Unido, scheduled for December 30, for the participation of the pirate team in the semifinals of the South American Cup.

On the official website of the ANFP, in the section of the schedules the game appears without date or time, and that it was postponed due to the Article 22 of the Rules of the National Championship.

The article states that “The fact that a Club is participating in an official international competition shall not constitute grounds for suspension or rescheduling of a match, Unless he is contesting the semifinal or final of such competition “.

Coquimbo Unido, the only Chilean representative in international tournaments, will face Defense and Justice for the passage to the final, on January 7 and 14.

Also, as we learned in Outdoors at Cooperativa, Colo Colo was officially notified by the ANFP about the postponement of this commitment, which was already pending on the 24th date of the National Championship.

Note that Colo Colo will not play against La Calera this weekend either, due to the cases of Covid-19 in the cement table, so his next match will be in 2021.
