A Carabineros official risked his physical integrity to rescue two women who were staying inside a house that was on fire. The event occurred this Tuesday in the El Bosque sector of the María Pinto commune (Melipilla Province, Metropolitan Region). As reported by the institution, upon arrival at the scene, neighbors alerted the police that two women – a 44-year-old and her daughter, 22 – were trapped inside the building. Carabineros congratulated the “courageous action” of the official, “which reaffirms the vocation of public service, commitment and dedication” of its members.
