This Sunday, the former Minister of Education, Mariana aylwin, confirmed his pre-candidacy for the Constitutional Convention.

Through Twitter, Aylwin announced that he will run as an independent for District 11, which includes the communes of La Reina, Las Condes, Lo Barnechea, Peñalolén and Vitacura.

It is worth mentioning that last October, the former secretary of state indicated that she felt “more identified with Evópoli than with the DC”, but finally decided to go as an independent. “It’s easier to go for a game, but being independent gives you more freedom”he said in a video shared by supporters of his candidacy.
