From the National Association of Fiscal Employees (ANEF) they hope that the Government will “reconsider” its proposal of readjustment to the public sector, which was rejected in its idea of legislating by the House and that must insist on the Senate.

The Government will have to insist next week with its proposal for the Public Sector Readjustment Law, which was rejected in their idea of legislating through the chamber of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies.

The project, which also did not have the support of the unions, contemplated a readjustment of 2.7% for salaries up to 1,500,000 pesos, and 0.8% for rents above that cut-off line.

The president of the National Association of Fiscal Employees, José Pérez, reiterated that the Executive cannot claim a readjustment below 2.8% inflation projected for this year.

In the Senate, the socialist Juan Pablo Letelier, warned the Treasury that you will not prosper if you do not improve your offer.

In the Chamber, the deputy RN Sofía Cid regretted that the idea of legislating was rejected, trapping the option of improving the project in a shorter period of time, despite the Executive’s commitment to replace, for example, a special bonus for workers in the Salud, for your work in the pandemic.

After this setback, the Ministry of Finance must insist on the Senate, where requires the approval of two thirds of the Chamber to replace the project, and the opposition has already warned that it will not back the current offer.
