The answer was not long in coming. After President Sebastián Piñera described Daniel Jadue as “the wrong path,” the mayor of Recoleta and a presidential letter from the Communist Party replied to the president’s words.

“Chile does not want a second right-wing government. I learned a while ago that someone defined me as a ‘wrong way’, but the one who defined me as ‘wrong way’ has 7% of support in Chile,” said Jadue, during an activity in Talca.

“It is always very pleasant that someone who has 7% support says that others are wrong,” continued the communal chief of Recoleta, in statements reproduced by Radio Cooperativa.

It should be noted that Piñera’s rating of “wrong way” towards Jadue was given in the framework of an interview that the President gave to Mega’s morning “Much Gusto”.

In this space, Sebastián Piñera also gave his definitions of other presidential candidates, such as Pamela Jiles or Joaquín Lavín.
