Codelco Windows Division closed by advancing its collective bargaining process with both unions that group all of the Role B workers, after reaching an agreement that had 80% approval of the partners.
The negotiation agreed that the collective bargaining agreements will have a validity of 36 months and will take effect from February 1, 2021 for Union No. 1; and May 1, 2021 for the Turnados Union.
The agreement considers a 0% salary readjustment and a Negotiation Term Bonus of $ 1,700,000 liquid, 50% lower than the previous negotiation, the state company detailed in a statement.
The voting process had the participation of 70% of the associates authorized to vote in both unions.
“The agreement between the Ventanas Division and its unions demonstrates the commitment of all those who are part of Codelco, favoring dialogue, good understanding and respect,” the company said.
Likewise, the state company valued that the dialogue took place “within the framework of a complex scenario for the country, product of the health contingency that has been present in a large part of this year ”.
