The National Confederation of Municipal Health Officials (Confusam) announced a prolonged national strike of primary care, which will begin on Wednesday, December 16 from 08:00 hours.
Officials demand a readjustment that maintains purchasing power for all and all state workers.
In relation to this, the president of the municipal Health, Gabriela Flores, specified that “until now, only a staggered adjustment has been offered that leaves most of our officials with less purchasing power than before ”.
The above would represent figures that grant only 2.7% for salaries of up to 1 million and a half gross pesos and 0.8 for salaries of up to 3 million pesos.
“Along with this, the end of conflict bonus disappears, they are readjusted by only 2.7% and the vacation bonus is reduced by half, making those who are risking their lives fighting disease ”, Flores asserted.
He said that they were given reasons why their purchasing power is reduced and added that “they refer to the help that the State must provide to entrepreneurs to sustain the economy ”.
Fenats joins the strike
In addition to this, and after the failure of the talks between the government and the Public Sector Board, the 16 unions that make it up decided to seek support in Congress to achieve their demands.
