Media in Colombia reported that last Sunday, hitmen murdered a woman named Mileydis Aldana Herazo, who last June had starred in a video where he is seen decapitating an owl.
The incident occurred while the victim was walking through the neighborhood called Luis Carlos Galán, which is located in his hometown, Corozal.
According to the Colombian media El Heraldo, that afternoon the woman was approached by two subjects who were traveling on motorcycles, who got out and his body was shot six times. After that, they say, they sped away.
The report adds that Aldana suffered serious injuries to her extremities and chest, for which she was transferred to the Nuestra Señora de Las Mercedes hospital, where she arrived without vital signs.
The authorities assured that, on December 8, the woman had expressed in her Facebook account that she had received several death threats from strangers, for which he “feared for his life.”
Within her antecedents, the 22-year-old girl had notes for drug manufacturing, carrying and trafficking. To all this was added the crime of animal abuse, due to the images published five months ago.
At that time, Aldana had published a video where he was seen beheading an owl, an animal that is traditional in those lands. The record was later published on the social network Facebook.
Along with that, he also uploaded a photograph where He is seen holding the bird’s head as if it were a trophy, which earned him thousands of criticisms.
The antecedents of that case had been sent from the Environmental Police of that country to the Prosecutor’s Office, which initiated an investigation for abuse. However, as of today, no conviction has been established.
Despite the seriousness of that action, for which she risked spending a year in prison, the woman was currently on probation.
At the moment, it is not known if the murder had to do with his activities related to drug trafficking or animal abuse.
