Daniel Matamala was this Monday in Puerto Saavedra in the Region of La Araucanía, in full solar eclipse.
While broadcasting the phenomenon on CNN Chile, the journalist stars in a tender and funny conversation with a girl, which quickly went viral.
“Get to see something of the sun?” Matamala asked the child.
“Yes, it’s super cool, although we wait for the other eclipse when we will all be dead,” he replied.
“No, not you. You don’t worry, you will see the next eclipse,” Matamala pointed out. “And you?”, Replied the girl.
“I am very old, so no,” Matamala replied.
“Don’t worry, I hope one day they will do an experiment to survive,” finished the minor.
Finally, Matamala thanked her interviewee with a laugh, highlighting “the good wishes of this girl.”
It is worth mentioning that the next eclipse that will be seen in the national territory will be in the Aysén Region in 2048.
