With new quarantines decreed at the national level and the regression of the Metropolitan Region along with 14 other phase communes in the Step by Step Plan, the new Emergency Family Income or IFE Recurrence it appears as a necessary state contribution for families unable to seek household support due to restrictions on movement.
In this context, the Government managed to approve a couple of weeks ago, the IFE Rebrote through the Budget Law 2021, which contemplates new payments for those who have previously been beneficiaries of the IFE and new applicants who wish to access the bonus.
According to the Minister of Social Development, Karla Rubilar, this new IFE would reach about 3 million homes, equivalent to about 8 million people. “This monetary contribution will go directly to help the families that need it most,” he stressed.
What will be the value of the Emergency Family Income?
This IFE will have a maximum value of $ 55,000 per beneficiary, that is 55% with respect to the original value and in the case of families with four members, they will receive a total contribution of $ 220,000.
The amount of the bonus, unlike previous payments, will maintain its value regardless of the number of members of the family nucleus.
When will the IFE be paid?
The payments of this new Emergency Family Income will be made only if new total quarantines are decreed and always starting in 2021.
Who can receive the new Emergency Family Income payment?
- The seventh payment of the IFE will be released only for:
- Families that received the sixth installment of the IFE.
- Families that have among their members, originators of the Single Family Subsidy or users of the Seguridades y Oportunidades (SSyOO) system.
- Families that belong to the most vulnerable 60%, according to the Social Household Registry.
How much money do IFE beneficiaries receive?
For this opportunity, the IFE will have a different value than the previous ones and will be for 55% of the original amount, which is equivalent to a maximum of $ 55,000 per beneficiary. Amounts to pay for the sixth installment of the Emergency Family Income:
- Families of 1 member: $ 55,000.
- Families of 2 members: $ 110,000.
- Families of 3 members: $ 165,000.
- Families of 4 members: $ 220,000.
- Families of 5 members: $ 275,000.
- Families of 6 members: $ 330,000.
- Families of 7 members: $ 385,000.
- Families of 8 members: $ 440,000.
- Families of 9 or more members: $ 495,000.
