Deputy Patrick Rosas decided to leave the Unir Movement and consequently, ceased to belong to the Broad Front deepening the crisis of the conglomerate that in recent weeks has suffered several casualties.

The parliamentarian released the news via WhatsApp to his colleagues in the movement made up of the former socialist, Marcelo Díaz, which he had joined in July this year, indicates La Tercera.

The departure of Rosas deepens the crisis that broke out in the bloc after the resignations of the deputies of the Democratic Revolution (RD) Natalia Castillo and Pablo Vidal and the abandonment completed by the Liberal Party.

From the Unir Movement they issued a public statement assuring that they respect the decision of the parliamentarian and assuring that while he was there “he demonstrated his commitment and vocation of public service, always putting the welfare of all Chileans ahead. This is why we wish him the best of luck in the projects he undertakes in the future ”.

“Beyond the public authorities that are part of Unir, our movement has managed to build a solid base of citizen support that remains active and in force in the various regions of the country, spaces for participation and action that are the most
relevant to our platform ”, they added.
