The Inter Milan again could not access the knockout stages of the Champions League and with Wednesday’s draw against Shakhtar Donetsk they were left empty-handed.
For the fans, the main responsible is Antonio Conte. Of his 3 home matches in the tournament, he could not win a single match.
The team’s game was reflected in a very poor performance: last of the group with only 6 units. The only victory they got was against Gladbach in Germany.
Near the end of the game on Wednesday, in which only victory served him, he decided to put in Perisic and Alexis Sánchez to have more offensive volume.
The changes and the style of play are the factors most criticized by the fans.
