He added that they are concerned about families and their jobs, “therefore we are looking for alternatives so that they do not lose the month of December. What does that mean? It means that tomorrow we will find out what alternatives we are evaluating. “
“One of them could be to reduce the curfew, that is, that it begins at one in the morning, and thus also postpone the end of the public transport schedule”, he assured.
Another alternative that the minister suggested to the Ministry of Health is that “the possibility be enabled for businesses in small and medium neighborhoods, neighborhood businesses, to open their doors as long as they meet the sanitary conditions of one person every 10 m². because that reduces the risk of contagion to a minimum ”.
“We always want to enable new sectors of the economy. We have done this with construction, we have done it with supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies, the different industries. We have done it with restaurants, hotels, cinemas, theaters, etc. Always with all the scientific evidence so as not to put people’s health at risk ”, he declared.
Finally, he indicated that it is necessary to “reconcile a reduction in infections with an increase in jobs, which is what Chileans need and what Chileans need.”
