PDI official was arrested for participating in a clandestine party

The Investigative Police (PDI) issued a statement confirming the arrest of a member of the institution who was among the people arrested for participating in a clandestine party in the San Fernando commune.

“During the early morning, Carabineros detained nine adults, after the timely notice of neighbors, those who were participating in a clandestine party,” said Captain Luis González Flores.

And in light of this, the PDI confirmed that “within the framework of an inspection, a detective from the San Fernando Criminal Investigation Brigade was arrested for violation of article 318, while he was inside a pub, outside working hours.”

The institution indicated that the opening of an administrative sanitary summary was ordered, with the aim of “establishing the circumstances that led to his arrest, and applying the corresponding disciplinary measures in the case.”

“The Investigative Police of Chile is a law-abiding institution, with high credibility and trust from the public, so it will not tolerate any conduct on the part of its officials that deviates from the principles of administrative probity”, they concluded
