Scandal. The duel between Paris Saint-Germain and the Basaksehir Turkish, valid for the last date of the group stage of the Champions League, was suspended at 16 minutes.

The visitors decided not to continue playing after accusing racist insults from the fourth official towards the team’s assistant coach, Cameroonian Pierre Web, who was also sent off by the head judge.

Such was the discontent of the Turks that, after several minutes of complaints, which were joined by local players, they decided to go to dressing rooms with the intention of not playing until the fourth official was removed.

Thus, both schools withdrew from the field amid applause and some shouts aimed at the judges.

It is worth mentioning that, minutes after the incident, Basaksehir published an image of UEFA with the message “No more racism” on social networks, which was replicated by PSG.
