Chile’s Meteorological Directorate issued a warning for a “high temperature event” between the Coquimbo and O’Higgins regions.
According to the organism, the heat will affect “mainly the valleys and foothills of the aforementioned section”.
In that sense, a maximum of up to 34 degrees is expected for this Wednesday in Santiago.
Thermometers are also forecast to reach 34 degrees in San Felipe and Los Andes, while in La Calera, Quillota, Villa Alemana and La Ligua 32 degrees are expected.
Similarly, a maximum of 32 degrees is forecast in Rancagua, Santa Cruz and San Fernando in the O’Higgins Region.
It should be mentioned that for this Monday a maximum of 29 degrees is expected in Santiago, while for Tuesday the thermometers would reach 31 degrees.
