After the Government announced this Monday that the entire Metropolitan Region will go back to phase 2 of the “Step by Step” plan, the mayor of Puente Alto, Germán Codina (RN), called on the Executive to reactivate economic aid.

“Obviously from the health point of view one can understand it, however, I think it is very important for the Government to act as a team in this. If this decision is to be made, aid must be reactivated in the merchandise and financial boxes,” said Codina radio Bío Bío.

In this sense, the community chief of Puente Alto remarked that given this new panorama dictated by the health authority, “an injection of important resources is needed for so many families who were resuming their commercial activity and are obviously going to be harmed.”

It should be noted that this Thursday, December 10, starting at 5:00 am, phase 2 of the “Step by Step” plan will begin to govern in all the municipalities of the Metropolitan Region.
