This Friday, the Ministry of Health published in the Official Gazette a series of changes in the “Step by Step plan”.
In detail, the modifications involve the older adults, sports and educational venues and cruise ship landings.
The new decree establishes that from now on, the long-stay centers for the elderly (Eleam) will be able to let their residents out every weekday up to a radius of 200 meters in all directions, for two hours at a time.

About sports venues, such as gyms, the change is that your reopening can be completed from phase 3 onwards. However, they continue to demand different hours of attention and the maximum time spent in the establishment continues to be one hour.
On the other hand, The use of dressing rooms is still prohibited and from any other closed place that is not essential for the practice of sport. Meanwhile, the use of lockers with a minimum distance of one meter between them and it is required permanent and adequate ventilation.
Refering to cruise ship landfall with passengers, remains prohibited until March 1, 2021 in all Chilean ports.

Finally, the pre-school, basic and high school campuses that are in communes in phase 3, 4 and 5 and that they requested permission to resume face-to-face classes from the Regional Ministerial Secretary of Education, they will be able to continue operating if the locality regresses to phase 2.
