The Sernatur issued a public statement on Friday about the contagion of COVID-19 of a Elderly after a trip organized by the agency and which was denounced by the Mayor of Renca, Claudio Castro.
In this regard, the agency clarified that “this particular trip, organized by the National Tourism Service, as well as all Sernatur social programs, was coordinated in line with the provisions of the Step-by-Step Plan and under demanding protocols and sanitary measures established by the Ministry of Health, also protecting the protection of all passengers during the travel process ”.
“All tourism service providers that operate the Senior Vacation program they are registered in Sernatur and are reviewed by service professionals before each trip to corroborate compliance with the required measures ”, he adds.
He also emphasizes that he made contact with the affected person, who is at home, and with the rest of the older adults participating in the trip, all of whom have already had PCR tests.
“We are supporting the coordination of the protocols established by the health authority in this type of situation and we are collecting all the antecedents related to the activity,” he emphasizes.
