Constituent Unit agreed to perform primary schools in 85 communes of the country, to determine unique candidates for the Municipal next year.
Through a press release, the Constituent Unit announced a “broad general agreement” that includes holding citizen consultations in 85 communes of the country next December 20th.
The idea is to define through this mechanism a single candidacy of the bloc for the municipal elections of April 2021.
Let us remember that the Constituent Unit pact is made up of the Socialist (PS), For Democracy (PPD), Radical (PR), Christian Democrat (DC), Progressive (PRO) and Citizens (Cs) parties.
The signing of the agreement was carried out during this day at the headquarters of the PS, where the main leaders of the communities of the bloc arrived, in order to “seal this alliance and comply with the principle that citizens have a main role in the definition of local leadership ”.
The schedule for conducting these consultations also establishes the review of the
sanitary conditions of each commune during the next week, to comply with the
protocols established by the regulations of our country as a result of the pandemic, they indicated.
