With 68 votes in favor, 69 against and five abstentions, the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies rejected the censorship of the table led by Diego Paulsen (RN).
The motion had been presented after Parliamentarians Camila Vallejo (PC) and Cristóbal Urruticoechea (RN) were not allowed to vote in the session on the Comprehensive Child Sex Education project.
In this new defeat of the opposition, the abstentions of the deputies of the Humanist Party (PH) were key, Florcita Alarcón and Pamela Jiles, as well as Renato Garín (IND), Félix González (PEV) and Jenny Álvarez (PS).

Hours after the vote, the parliamentarian outlined why she abstained. “Today I voted abstention to censorship of the Chamber of the Chamber, facing the people as always. 10 opposition deputies did not vote, ”he said.
Through Twitter, the journalist stated that “the Table has fulfilled its constitutional obligations ” and that “A false accusation was made. I do not endorse injustices, whatever their side ”.
