Senator Ximena Rincón gave her version of the questions about a possible conflict of interest in the middle of the discussion of the pension reform, after it became known that her brother, former deputy Ricardo Rincón, is practicing as a lawyer for Felices y Forrados.

“I did not know that my brother was a lawyer for Felices y Forrados, and to disqualify me, he should have known,” Rincón told La Tercera, thus ruling out a possible link between her and the pension consulting company led by Gino Lorenzini.

“Why would I have to ask him about the things I do, nor did he have to inform me of his clients. I am a lawyer, I was a Minister of Labor, I was director of an AFP for a time, I know about this issue,” continued the parliamentarian and one of the DC presidential letters.

It should be noted that La Tercera published a series of audio transcripts that would link Rincón’s legislative work in the pension reform with indications provided by Felices and Forrados.
