Second withdrawal of 10%: RN deputy asks to exempt from taxes “those who earn $ 700 or $ 800 thousand”

The project of second withdrawal of 10% of AFP funds, promoted by the Government and which includes the payment of taxes for high incomes, begins its second legislative process in the Labor Commission of the Chamber of Deputies.

In the prelude to the discussion, the deputy RN Francisco Eguiguren, agreed with the Executive in the payment of taxes because “We all know that with taxes the social programs of a government can be financed, and welcome.”

However, the parliamentarian who is also a member of the Labor Commission reaffirmed that “Let it be clear: not with the taxes of the middle class, who earn 700, 800 thousand pesos.”

“Let it be with the highest incomes; let’s not keep putting our hand in the pocket of the middle class”Eguiguren said regarding the second withdrawal of 10%.

It should be noted that the opposition deputies who also make up said commission, such as PS Gastón Saavedra and Gael Yeomans from Convergencia Social, announced that they will present indications to seek to segment the payment of tax and exempt the so-called middle class.
