At 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, the tables began to close in the communes where the primaries for the elections of mayors and regional governors were registered, in March 2021.

The day was marked by a low turnout according to witnesses, voters and members for months, in addition to the complaints of tables that failed to be constituted and left people without the possibility of voting.

At 1:00 pm this Sunday, the Servel newsletter reported that: “Out of a universe of 21,281 Suffrage Reception Tables determined for these votes, a total of 20,012 are installed, equivalent to 94.03 percent.”
