Chilean triathlete Bárbara Riveros won the aquathlon competition, the super sprint and the combined draft this weekend at the Super Sprint Championship in New South Wales, Australia.

The outstanding national athlete won the event with a final time of 22 minutes and 12 seconds. In the aquathlon he registered a time of 10’52 “, while the draft did it in 31’14”.

In the resumption of activities after the coronavirus pandemic, the “Chicka” registered second places in the Nepean Triathlon 2020 in Sydney (on October 25) and the Hervey Bay 100 (November 15), both in Australia.

It must be remembered that despite these good results, Bárbara Riveros still does not ensure her qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games, to be held in 2021.
