An injured firefighter and four homes destroyed was the result of a fire recorded this Saturday afternoon in Peñalolén.

The incident consumed four homes at the intersection of streets Baltic Sea with Tyrrhenian Sea, in the capital commune.

After being alerted to the incident, 10 fire companies arrived at the scene to try to control the fire that destroyed four homes.

During the emergency, a firefighter was injured after falling from the roof of one of the buildings, being transferred to the Mutual de Seguridad.

No other people were reported injured as a result of the emergency, which was finally controlled by the Fire Department.
