This Friday the traditional Black Friday in the United States, the day the Christmas shopping season opens with deep discounts.

Many local businesses have joined the celebration this year by preparing offers to anticipate Christmas gifts, indicated the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CCS).

For this reason, the union reported that it implemented the website www.blackfridayccs.cl with the information of its member companies that will be participating in the event as of this Friday, November 27.

So far the official site has 400 stores organized in 20 categories, the majority participants of the Cyber events of the CCS, including 25 SMEs from regions through their respective local chambers of commerce.

As it is an informative site, participants do not have restrictions on the duration or start date of their campaigns, and it is expected that the majority will leave this Friday and do so. spread out at least over the weekend.

“This website is informative and will be oriented to help consumers find the best opportunities in stores that are backed by the seriousness, good practices and security of the community of partners of the CCS and other regional chambers of commerce. ”Said the House.

In a similar way to what happens during the Cyber events organized by the institution, the page will publish the logos of the participating stores, with links to their websites and the necessary information for consumers.

Because this is the first time that an official CCS site has formally organized companies that run individual campaigns around Black Friday, the Chamber expects it to be an “informed and safe process for both consumers and businesses, and that in this way contributes to giving transparency to the event and improving the shopping experience ”.

The foregoing becomes especially relevant during this particular year, considering the extraordinary circumstances in which the trade faces this period, with partial openings, capacity restrictions and demanding sanitary measures.
