A contestant on the TV show “Clean”, which had a version in Chile that became known as “Man to water”, died after being hospitalized after participating in one of his obstacle courses.
The fact was confirmed by the TMZ portal, where they detail that the participant was assisted on Wednesday during one of the recordings of the show and was later transferred urgently to a hospital that was not specified.
According to police sources cited in the publication, the victim suffered a heart attack after completing one of the program’s competitions.
“We are devastated after learning of the death, our condolences to the family”commented from Endemol Shine North America, the producer in charge of the franchise.
According to the production of “Clean”, all contestants undergo medical exams before taking on the televised obstacle courses.
“We send our condolences to the family, our thoughts are with them at this time,” they added.
