Parties of the command “Approve Chile Digno” officially presented this Sunday the conformation of the conglomerate “Chile Worthy, Green and Sovereign”, ahead of the conventional elections next April.
The bloc made up of the Communist Party, the Social Green Regionalist Federation, Humanist Action and a series of groups, announced the constituent pre-candidacies.
The new name comes from the elections of next April 11, instance in which mayors, councilors, regional governors and the members of the Constituent Convention will be chosen.
In this launch, developed on the outskirts of the Museum of Contemporary Art, social movements and organizations read the collective manifesto, which highlights the importance of the constituent process for the country.
The president of the Communist Party, deputy Guillermo Teillier, pointed out that at this moment the main focus of the conglomerate is centered on the drafting of the new constitution, listening to citizen demands.
This, after being consulted for the position of the humanist deputy, Pamela jiles, as the eventual presidential candidate with the highest number of preferences, equaling the mayor of Las Condes, Joaquin Lavin, with 36% of the intention to vote, according to the latest Public Square survey by Cadem.
The collective “Chile Digno, Verde y Soberano” announced the candidacies for constituents, highlighting names such as comedian Daniel Haroldo, better known as “Bombo Fica”; the psychologist Gonzalo Bacigalupe, the lawyer Bárbara Sepúlveda, the writer Jorge Baradit, the musician Jorge Coulón, the actors Bastián Bodenhöfer and Mauricio Pesutic and the soccer coach Paula Navarro.
