This Sunday the Government, through the Ministry of Health, delivered a new report on the spread of the covid-19 pandemic in Chile.

In the last 24 hours, 1,497 new infections of covid-19, of which 961 are symptomatic and 522 are asymptomatic.

With this, the total number of people who suffer and suffered from the disease in the country amounts to 540,640 total cases.

In this sense, it was also reported that currently the active cases are 9,145.

The Minsal also indicated that in the last 24 hours 39 patients died due to causes associated with covid-19, with which the total number of deaths reached 15,069.

Likewise, 516,121 people have recovered after catching the virus.

In the healthcare network throughout the national territory there are 698 hospitalized, of which 535 remain on mechanical ventilation. Of these patients, 76 have a critical diagnosis.

Finally, in the last 24 hours, 40,034 PCR tests (5,057,908 in total).
