Daniela Nicols it’s pure joy, after it became the new Miss Universe Chile. In this way, the young woman will represent our country in this year’s world competition.
A competition where Daniela Nicols, who represented the Copiap community, was always a favorite. In the final instance of the event, which was animated by Pablo Schilling, she also noticed Sofa Depassier (Miss Foreign Community), Karina Prez (Miss Ovalle) and Romina Denecken (Miss Colina) won.
“Participating taught me that I can be who I want, regardless of my difficulties or those voices that said I could not be, due to the supposed standards of beauty”, said the journalism student, before being crowned.
“Being different is a wonderful tool. I must be Miss Universe because I want to transmit this on a large platform and inspire those people who by seeing me know that when you want, it is always possible,” he added.
Daniela Nicols managed to win the competition that featured 17 semifinalists. An event that also designated the Chilean representative for the Universal Latin American contest: Anita Rojas from the commune of La Florida.
