The Regional Government of Tarapacá reported this day that – due to the compliance of the legal deadline for resignations of authorities who want to participate in the next electoral cycle – the President of the Republic accepted the resignations of the relevant authorities.
Likewise, the highest authority has arranged appointments. In that sense, in the Province of Iquique, the now former Governor Álvaro Jofré resigned and in his position he was appointed, during the day this Friday the commercial engineer Rodrigo Guagama.
