This Friday the Government announced the names that will leave their positions to run for Congress in November 2021.
Although the official deadline expires this Saturday, the news became official this day, while the resignations correspond to mayors and undersecretaries.
With regard to the Government parties, in the UDI there are several names who will leave their positions in the Executive.
An example of this is the Undersecretary of Finance, Francisco Moreno, who will be replaced by Alejandro Weber.
In turn, the undersecretary of Regional Development will also leave his position, Juan Masferrer, her position being occupied by María Paz Troncoso.
Regarding the mayors, the highest authority of the Bío Bío, Sergio Giacaman, will cede his position to Patricio Kuhn.
In the case of the Ñuble region, the lawyer Cristóbal Jardua will assume the position held by Martín Arrau.
Governorships
In the Government of Iquique, Rodrigo Guagama will enter as the highest provincial authority in place of Álvaro Jofré, while in the Government of Antofagasta, Nalto Espinoza will assume in replacement of Katherine López.
The Elqui Government will also have a change of authority, since Marcelo Gutiérrez, who served as Chief of Cabinet of the Serviu de Coquimbo, will replace Gonzalo Chacón.
Similar panorama will occur in the Government of Colchagua, since the lawyer Manuel Cuadra will leave the Seremi de Minería de O’Higgins, to take over from Yamil Ethit.
In the Maule region, the Government of Talca will have journalist Jaime Suárez as new governor, who will replace Felipe Donoso.
Returning to the Ñuble region, Pía Sandoval will leave her post as chief of staff of the Serviu of said area, to assume the position of Cristóbal Martínez in the Government of Punilla, while in the Government of Diguillín, the political scientist, Roger Cisterna, will take over from Enrique Rivas.
Finally, Pedro Andrade will be the new governor of Chiloé, after announcing the departure of Héctor Bórquez.
