The UDI deputy, Javier Macaya, did not like the appointment of the new general director of the Carabineros, Ricardo Yáñez. In the middle of a session in the Chamber of Deputies, a microphone was left open where the parliamentarian revealed in an unkind tone that Yáñez is from the “left”.
“The general director of the Carabineros is more left-handed than the chucha (Ricardo Yáñez). I told (Andrés) Chadwick at the time and they didn’t catch me, ”Macaya began by recounting.
The parliamentarian for O’Higgins added that “the president of the UDI of San Fernando was a neighbor of him (…) he is from all the life of San Fernando and is from a family of the left, left, left. This neighbor is the father of two pacos, former pacos too, and he tells me ‘this (…) is from the left’ ”.
The dialogue was broadcast on the Twitter account of the Democratic Revolution deputy, Jorge Brito, who joked about his colleague’s dialogue: “What good data was thrown away. Does the dismissed Chadwick still rule at La Moneda?”
