Gran Concepción advances curfew: Government announces changes in 16 communes
The 10 communes of Greater Concepción will begin the restriction from 8:00 p.m. from Saturday, November 21.
The Government reported changes in 16 communes of the country within the framework of the Step by Step plan, along with advancing the start of the curfew in the 10 communes that comprise thel Great Conception.
As indicated by the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention, Katherine Martorell, in Concepción, Coronel, Chiguayante, Hualpén, Hualqui, Lota, Penco, San Pedro de la Paz, Talcahuano and Tomé the curfew will start from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 21.
This is due to the strong increase in COVID-19 cases reported in the last hours in the area.
For their part, the communes that will move forward and backward in phase are the following:

- Iquique
- San Javier
- Frutillar
- Freesia
These changes will take effect from Monday, November 23 at 05:00 a.m.
