Prince Charles would be furious at the image offered of him in the fourth season of the series “The Crown.”
According to the newspaper El País, the son of Queen Elizabeth II would be upset with the image that is seen of him in the Netflix production, which was released a few days ago.
In that sense, the season shows the prince as a cold man, who married Diana of Wales without hardly knowing her and who is unfaithful to Camila Parker Bowles.
According to what was reported by the Daily Mail, Carlos’s environment is angry about what the Netflix series shows.
“This is a drama and entertainment for commercial purposes that is done without taking into account the people involved,” a source told the English newspaper.
“In this case, it is dragging things that happened in very difficult times 25 or 30 years ago without thinking about anyone’s feelings. That is not correct or fair, especially when many of the things that are shown do not represent the truth,” he said .
The scenes that bothered Carlos
According to the aforementioned British media, there are two scenes that caused the prince’s discomfort. The first is related to the death of Lord Mountbatten.
In the fiction, he sends a letter to Carlos shortly before he died in an IRA attack. In the letter, he communicates to the prince his disappointment that he maintains his affair with Camila. In that sense, there is no evidence that such a letter exists.
The second is when the Duke of Edinburgh threatened Diana when she stopped talking to her husband.
