43-year-old man arrested for rape and child abuse

Detectives from the San Antonio Sexual and Juvenile Crimes Investigation Squad detained a 43-year-old man. The arrest was for the crime of sexual abuse and repeated rape of a minor under 14 years of age.

“The investigations carried out by detectives of this brigade, allowed to obtain conclusive antecedents, which facilitated the Public Ministry to manage an arrest warrant against the aggressor”, assured the Deputy Commissioner of the Investigative Brigade of Sexual Crimes of the area, Ignacio Hernández.

He was a friend of the parents

According to data provided by Deputy Commissioner Hernández, the incident occurred between 2003 and 2009. The minor was 9 years old when the events occurred. The man, as a friend of the victim’s parents, took advantage of this trusting relationship to systematically abuse.

The defendant was detained by the civil police when proving his authorship in the facts investigated. It was made available to the San Antonio Guarantee Court.
