Today the wake of the radio host and television presenter, Julio Videla, is taking place. The renowned communicator died yesterday, at the age of 76, in the city of Viña del Mar.
The funerals will be held tomorrow, Sunday 15, at noon in the Parque del Recuerdo cemetery in the Huechuraba district. Julio Videla died of an acute myocardial infarction while in the sauna of his building.
Great track record
As an announcer, Videla began his work at Radio Carrera in the late 1960s. Later, he worked on stations such as Radio Portales, Radio Chilena, Radio Romance, Radio Para Ti and Radio Cooperativa, where he did the program Your years count until the beginning 2019.
Meanwhile, on television, Videla assumed the leadership of spaces such as Cordialmente, on channel 11, Acompáñeme, on Mega, and Con Us, on Channel 13, between 2003 and 2005.
