Through a statement, the Las Higueras de Talcahuano Hospital reported that Senator Alejandro Navarro (Progressive Country) “in general terms, remains stable and out of the initial gravity.”
The parliamentarian continues this Saturday in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after undergoing a heart intervention last Wednesday.
According to the statement from the healthcare center, Navarro “has evolved satisfactorily in the cardiological field and is progressing, slowly, in the exit of mechanical ventilation, a process that can take several days”.
Navarro was admitted to Las Higueras Hospital last Tuesday after suffering a coronary failure. Yesterday, the director of the healthcare facility, Patricia Sánchez, specified that the first 12 days after this type of coronary intervention are the most critical but said that “we hope that this favorable evolution will continue in the coming days.”
