A string of acts of violence they have registered in The Araucanía in the last hours, with a bullet attack on Carabineros, the burning of an evangelical church, added to the burning of vehicles on Route 5 and machinery in forestry operations.
The series of attacks coincide with the commemoration of the crime of the Mapuche community member Camilo Catrillanca, happened two years ago.
The first of the events was recorded on Friday night in the Route 5 South, in the catwalk sector of the Chamichaco sector, in the commune of Ercilla, where a vehicle was set on fire.
The incident forced the interruption of traffic in both directions for several hours, because when the police arrived in the sector, they were attacked with bullets.
