The video lasts one minute and ten seconds in which a group of children and adolescents, simulating a school rock band, parodies the famous song of the Dynamic Duo, I will resist, making a site for the coronavirus and committing to continue studying during the pandemic.
The audiovisual piece is part of the communication campaign paid by the Ministry of Education (Mineduc) and whose cost amounted to $ 300 million pesos, according to the same portfolio.
The Commons deputy and member of the Education Commission, Camila Rojas, pointed out that everyone agrees that it is necessary to reopen schools, but also recalled that in normal times many establishments do not have the minimum sanitary conditions required today.
The Mineduc communication offensive also includes a video of its headline, Raúl Figueroa, in an informal style, without a tie and with his sleeves rolled up, sitting in his office checking his cell phone.
There he invites people to participate in the advisory council for the return to face-to-face classes.
The president of the College of Teachers, Mario Aguilar, regretted that the ministry wasted time and resources in campaigns like these.
In his opinion, times have changed and people do not want merely formal parodies of participation, reiterating the call on the Government to set up a working table, but with the actors of the school system.
Although some members of the advisory council have raised to the Minister of Education the relevance of including the College of Professors and the discipline assistants for the success of the return process, this step has not materialized.
