Frustrated femicide: they arrest a policeman accused of burning his ex-partner’s car

The Biobío Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the arrest of the policeman accused of burning his ex-partner’s car last Thursday in the city of Los Angeles.

According to the Public Ministry it is the police sergeant Luis Mancilla, who works in the municipality of Río Bueno, who is being investigated for the crime of frustrated femicide.

Last weekend it was the victim herself who denounced her ex-partner through social networks, accusing him of burning the car that was parked in front of her house while she and her children were inside the house.

The antecedents investigated so far and which are headed by the prosecutor Paola Otárola, allowed to obtain the arrest warrant against Mancilla from the Los Angeles Court of Guarantee.

The detainee will go to the hearing of control of detention during the afternoon of this Thursday in the city of the eighth region.
